When to use it
With a noun it attaches directly: 품질은 물론이다, 가격은 물론이고. With a clause, nominalise with -(으)ㅁ first, keeping the ㄹ: 만듦은 물론이다.
The commonest shape by far is -은/는 물론이고, which concedes the first item and moves straight to the second: 가격은 물론이고 품질도 뛰어납니다.
The second item usually takes 도, marking it as the addition that actually matters.
Note the noun 물론 on its own is an adverb meaning “of course.” Here it is a noun with 이다 attached.
